A backup power source for people who depend on it
If you rely on electric or battery-dependent medical technologies such as assistive technology, breathing machines, a power wheelchair or scooter, and home oxygen or dialysis, it is critical that you have a plan in place for an extended power outage.
Backup power can help keep the lights on and appliances running, save perishable food, and power essential equipment and electronics during a power outage. East Bay Community Energy (EBCE) is offering eligible Medical Baseline customers a $1,000 rebate on the purchase of a GoalZero Yeti 3000X Portable Power Station to help prepare for power outages.
To qualify for this rebate, you must satisfy all of these requirements:
Be an active EBCE account holder.
Be enrolled in the Medical Baseline program.
Rely on electric or battery-dependent medical technology at your home.
Double your savings
PG&E offers a separate $1,000 rebate on the GoalZero Yeti 3000X, and as a Medical Baseline customer you may be eligible for this rebate too.
EBCE's $1,000 rebate applies to all EBCE customers enrolled in the Medical Baseline program.
PG&E's $1,000 rebate applies to EBCE's customers enrolled in the Medical
Baseline program who also live in High Fire Threat District 2 or 3.
