Net Energy Metering Incentive

All solar customers will be enrolled in EBCE’s Net Energy Metering (NEM) rate, which is substantially similar to PG&E’s NEM rate. EBCE provides an additional incentive to low income and municipal customers who have installed a solar system after 6/1/18 (full retail credit plus $0.01/kilowatt-hour (kWh) for every solar kWh exported to the grid).

This data is also valuable to EBCE’s local government partners who are developing greenhouse gas inventories.
