In May 2021, most residential electricity customers in Alameda County were placed on Time of Use rates as part of a statewide transition to support more renewable energy. The transition included a year of bill protection, which has now concluded.

Cait Cady
Public Engagement Coordinator
Cait coordinates with local government partners and public officials in order to bring more renewable energy to the East Bay. Before joining the EBCE team, she was a program manager at Berkeley Law’s Center for Law, Energy & the Environment (CLEE), where she supported a team of researchers working at the forefront of critical environmental and energy policy issues. She received her BA in political science and American history from the University of California, Berkeley.
