Jessie Denver
Director, Transportation Electrification - Market Development
Jessie leads EBCE's strategy to accelerate market adoption of light, medium and heavy-duty zero-emission cars and trucks, and expand connectivity between electric vehicles and the grid. In this role, she oversees transportation electrification business and infrastructure development, product planning, and partnerships. Jessie has over 20 years of extensive experience in distributed energy resources and transportation policy, planning and programs. Upon joining EBCE in 2019, she also developed and launched the agency's Resilience Program initiatives. Prior to joining EBCE, Jessie held an executive management role with the City and County of San Francisco leading the Distributed Energy Resources Program. There she focused on policy and program frameworks, and partnerships, necessary for transportation electrification, energy storage, and building electrification. She also served as the City of San Jose's Energy Officer, was a Program Director with Vote Solar, and has held faculty positions at San Jose State University and UC Berkeley Extension. Jessie holds a Master's degree in Environment and Community Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies.
