If you are a home performance contractor or a plumber, it pays to install heat pump water heaters (HPWHs) for your customers. EBCE has partnered with Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) to offer licensed contractors $1,000 to install heat pump water heaters in our service area.

Free training for contractors

The Heat Pump Water Heater Education Program provides free training covering various topics surrounding heat pump water heaters. Sponsored by TECH Clean California & ESMAC (Energy Star HPWH Manufacturers Action Council), these free sessions are focused on technology features and benefits of HPWHs, installation techniques, maintenance, troubleshooting, selling strategies and more.
