Annie Henderson
Chief Customer Officer
Annie brings 20 years of energy market experience to Ava where she oversees account services, local development, and marketing. Her role applies a customer-centric lens across our work, reinforcing the Ava brand position as an active guide to a brighter future. She joined Ava in 2017, prior to its launch of service to customers. She is originally from Pennsylvania but is happy to call Oakland home, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and stubborn Husky mutt, Yukon.
Annie was previously with Renew Financial, a California cleantech start-up. She served as Vice President of Residential Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs. During her eight years at Renew Financial, Annie launched three PACE programs throughout California and one statewide program in Florida. Prior to that position, Annie was Program Manager for the pilot solar water heating rebate program within San Diego Gas and Electric territory, which was then expanded to all investor-owned utility territories across California.
