Still cooking on a gas stove?

Replace your gas stove with a high-powered, energy-efficient induction range or cooktop and get $250 cash back!

Induction cooking is a faster, healthier, safer, and more efficient way to cook your favorite meals, providing immediate and precise temperature control and no gas fumes.

Cooking with gas has serious downsides. Gas ranges emit dangerous indoor pollutants including carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulates that could have long-term negative impacts on health. This is particularly true for children, seniors and those suffering from respiratory conditions.

Induction cooking is more energy-efficient than gas or electric coil cooking because it only heats the pan, not the burner. Less heat is lost to the surrounding air, and therefore, kitchens stay cooler. Plus, there are also no toxic emissions from cooking on induction, making it a safer option for your home.

Upgrade to a new induction range or cooktop and get a rebate of $250.

To qualify for the rebate, your new energy induction range or cooktop must replace an existing natural gas range or cooktops. This limited-time offer is available to Ava Community Energy customers on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.

Installation Notes for Induction Cooktops and Ranges

Replacing an existing electric range. Induction cooktops and ranges use the same outlet as standard electric range or cooktop, so the upgrade should be simple. Be sure to check the specs to ensure your electrical breaker has enough capacity.

Switching from a gas to an electric induction range. Be sure to consult an electrician prior to purchase and installation.
